Wow this will drave your battery to death. This has got to be the worst Mobile Security I have ever used. I have used Avast which puts this to shame. But I uninstalled this and put Advance Mobile care back on. I rather have it and put AVG in the trash can. I feel sorry for anyoine who has bought and paid for this.

Hi,
Thought i’ll review the product.
1. Antivirus is pretty much useless. I use Lookout and it id not find anything as well. It may or may not be working..can’t comment on that.
2. App guard with password: Its a trash. Asks me the password once every 10 seconds.
3. Anti-theft : What I liked was the feature that i can trigger missing phone detection with SMS. BUT how the heck am I suppose to remember the long Keyword they asked me to send sms.
4. App Backup : I prefer ES File explorer.
5. Task Killer: I prefer my default task manager on my s3. It does a lousy job of killing apps on my phone.
6. Battery : Everything related to battery can be handled by battery Doctor(amazing app). AVG is nothing as compared to it.
7. Just as DAVE mentioned, it drains the battery like hell.
Conclusion:
Use following free apps and save yourself $20.
1. Use lookout or prey for finding device
2. Battery Doctor for battery related stuff.
3. Advanced task killer is way better at process managing.
4. Use something like smart app protector.
5. ES File manager for app backup,ftp,sftp,smb file managing and application backup.
AVG combines them all into one…
But it does a pretty lousy job.
I’d prefer these separate applications(stated in conclusion), but hey someone may prefer an all-in-one solution and may not know about these wonderful apps to make out the difference.

Advanced Mobile Care doesn’t pass the Eicar test today, Dave ,no one security firm can detect 100% of all corrupt files all the time , but the Eicar test is a basic Industry Standard .
