I was very happy with Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 and 2010, but 2011 w2as a disaster: It slowed down my computer a GREAT DEAL and it flagged many files as having viruses that didn’t have any… in other words it flagged MANY false positives. Unfortunately, Kaspersky’s new virus files wouldn’t work with the 2010 version, so I went elsewhere.

There is a small program (vdfbuilder)for Avira antivirus. It builds virus database offline from an already updated pc.Is there same kind of software for other AVs like Kaspersky, Panda, F-secure or TrendMicro etc.
