I have a great news for you Internet lovers because Opera software has just officially released the final build of Opera 11, the fastest browser on the earth. After a mere two days of release candidates, Opera 11 is now available for download for Windows, Mac and Linux, just in time for Christmas.
Opera 11 is a big release for Opera Software. It combines elegant design, smart updates to some of the most popular features and new ways to customize Opera to your preferences. New exciting features of Opera 11 include tab stacking, extensions, Safer address field, visual mouse gestures and more.
- Tab stacking
Dragging one tab over another allows you to create groups of tabs. Now you can keep dozens of webpages open, organized and under control.
- Extensions
Extensions help you personalize your browser and extend Opera’s functionality. Opera’s implementation of extensions is similar to Chrome’s. There are already close to two hundred extensions in the official extensions gallery.. The most popular extensions include an ad blocker, LastPass and a YouTube video downloader
- Visual mouse gestures
Perform many common browser actions with a quick flick of your mouse. Holding down the right mouse button on a webpage now shows a visual guide that indicates how to perform the available gestures.
- Safer address field
The address field has been improved and now hides the complexity of long web addresses. It also provides more security information to help you stay safe when browsing; just click the badge for the website to see security information about the site you are visiting
You can click here to learn more or download Opera 11 for Windows, UNIX and Mac now from www.opera.com. Opera 11 is 30 percent smaller than Opera 10.60, so it downloads even faster.
