HDR Darkroom – HDR Darkroom: All-in-one HDR Software Create a HDR image from multiple Jpeg, Bmp, Tiff, or Camera Raw files (such as CR2, NEF) Create a HDR image from one single linear TIFF file in 16 bit per channel format Work as RAW converter to convert single Camera Raw files (such as CR2, NEF) for display or print. Advanced alignment methods to compensate for any small movements while taking the photos Three Tone Mapping Engines of your choice. One is a global tone mapping engine while the other two are patented Local Tone Mapping engines. With different setting of parameters, our local tone mapping engines will make you easily achieve both high quality photo-realistic and surreal HDR photography. Enhance one single 8-bit image such as JPEG, BMP, PNG, TIFF (8 bit per channel, 24 bit per pixel, integer RGB) using a patented single photo enhancement.
Review:
This is a software that lets you create a high dynamic range or HDR imagery out of multiple images that may be in JPEG, BMP, TIFF or camera RAW format files.

High dynamic range imaging or HDR imaging is a set of techniques that allow a greater range of intensity values between the lightest and darkest areas of an image to be reproduced. This wider dynamic range allows HDR images to more accurately represent the wide range of intensity levels found in real scenes, ranging from direct sunlight to faint starlight. Computer renderings capture a large dynamic range as the computer math processing can represent the finer values and the display device is able to show that. Photographic techniques include merging of multiple photographs. This is not able to create as high a dynamic range as computer rendering and hence goes by the name low dynamic range LDR or standard dynamic range SDR. This is one tool you`ll find handy for creating HDR shots.

The darkroom software has the tools to combine multiple photographs to create on HDR ( Actually a SDR) photo out of these input photos that can be in JPEG, BMP, TIFF formats or can be camera RAW files too. The technique used is the so called exposure bracketing. The software uses one normally exposed, one under exposed and one over exposed photograph and the darkroom software is able to create a HDR photo out of them. The photos come out with rich details and vivid colors without introducing halos or other blemishes. Software uses three tone mapping engines; one is a global tone mapping engine while the other two are patented Local Tone Mapping engines. Different settings of parameters are available to create a very realistic or a photo that is not quite real. Single image too can be enhanced using 8-bit image such as JPEG, BMP, PNG, TIFF (8 bit per channel, 24 bit per pixel, integer RGB).

Usually, HDR Darkroom cost you $79.00,but today there is a way to get it totally free.
