How to Turn Windows 7 Computer Into WiFi Hotspot to Share Wireless Internet Connection

Everybody’s got a wireless network at home,and most of the recent laptops and netbooks already comes with wireless capability allowing you to connect to wifi hotspots.However all you’ve got is a wired network at work, school, or elsewhere,so if you’ve ever wanted to get your iPod touch, iPhone, or other wireless device connected,what should you do?

There have been many articles on this,but the steps are quite long, involveing a lot of steps. Moreover, since there are so many different network configuration, these stepes may even not at all work for you.Good news is that there is a free software called Connectify which is designed to“EASILY” turn your Windows 7 computer into a wireless router with only a few clicks. Believe it or not, it is even easier than sharing an internet connection using your wireless adapter !

2,Select the Internet connection you wish to share.

3. Choose a name for your new wireless network (whatever you like)

4. Choose a wireless passphrase (The wireless password should contain at least 8 characters)

5. Press the Internet Sharing button to turn on your wireless network

Done, from wireless device, you could see your wireless network. Choose to join it, and enter the wireless passphrase you set to connect.At this point, you should be able to connect any wireless device to your new ad Hotspot network and access the internet, or even share files directly with your laptop.

Please Note: Connectify is a free software,but it requires Windows 7 or Windows sever 2008R2,and it can NOT been used in XP/Vista.
