Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 preview

Kaspersky Internet Security is an award-winning overall security suite which combines the essential security of Kaspersky lab’s leading antivirus software with additional layers of defense against hackers, spam, identity theft, and complex Internet threats. Innovative technologies deliver real-time protection, monitor suspicious activity, and block dangerous actions before they can cause harm—all while working silently in the background.

While it is still the first half of 2011, Kaspersky lab has begun to develop the 2012 version. We get  some new  screenshots  of this version. well the new UI of Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 looks really nice, much better than what they had before. Let’s have a look.

Kaspersky lab haven’t mentioned what are the new features in Kaspersky 2012 product. But based on the leaked Screenshots, they have included a reputation like feature. This reputation-based technology leverages the anonymous software usage patterns of millions of Kaspersky users to automatically identify new threats while maintaining among the lowest false positive rates. In fact, Kaspersky Lab 2011 products have already included a reputation services called the Astraea system. Now it’s being brought to greater attention by putting more “reputation” data from the KSN in the UI instead of only behind the scenes.

Keep in mind this is just a sneak peek at Kaspersky Internet Security 2012, and the google has yet to announce a release date for the new product, so Please stay tuned for more news. Will, hope the 2012 version will get drastically lighter, and allow custom installation.
