In response to the recent fire that devastated the historic church Notre Dame, Ubisoft is currently giving away Assassin’s Creed Unity – which is set in Paris and features a highly-detailed digital version of the Cathedral – for free on UPLAY (normally $30).
PC gamers will be able to get this Assassin’s Creed game for free till 09:00 on Thursday, April 25 (depending on your local time), and once acquired they will be able to keep it theirs forever.
As Ubisoft stated:
In light of Monday’s events, we will be donating €500,000 to help with the restoration and reconstruction of the Cathedral. We encourage all of you who are interested to donate as well. In addition, we want to give everyone the chance to experience the majesty and beauty of Notre-Dame the best way we know how. For one week, we will be giving Assassin’s Creed Unity away free on PC, for anyone who wants to enjoy it.
