Download Firefox 4 Mobile Browser for Android & Maemo Smartphones

Just a few days after the releases of firefox 4 final, Mozilla announced and released the latest version of Firefox 4 Mobile Browser for Google Android and Maemo (Nokia N900) smartphones. Firefox for mobile is built on the same technology platform as the desktop version. This latest version is leaps and bounds ahead of previous Firefox beta builds in both speed and stability. It delivers an intuitive interface, unparalleled customization and support for modern Web technologies. Major enhancements to the JavaScript engine make everything from page load speed to graphics to overall performance snappy in Firefox for Android and Maemo. According to Mozilla,  Firefox 4 is up to three times faster than the stock browser on Android.

The Firefox 4 app now includes support for Firefox Sync, which provides seamless and secure access to personal data across desktop and mobile devicesm, including tabs, history, bookmarks, passwords, and other data. The new Firefox 4 allows for tabbed browsing, add-on installation, and it will also automatically hide the browser controls when they aren’t in use, which should allow users to view more of the website you’re parked on. There’s also options to save PDFs, share pages, and customize the default search engine. On the other hand this latest version is still lack of Flash support.
