Microsoft has recently released the final version of Windows 8 to MSDN and TechNet subscribers, but if you do not have a MSDN or TechNet subscription, then the company has a 90-day free trial version of Windows 8 Enterprise available too. Windows 8 Enterprise provides all the features in Windows 8 Pro, with additional features designed to provide the mobile productivity, security, manageability and virtualization needs of today’s businesses. Some of the key features that will be available exclusively to Windows 8 Enterprise customers are: Windows To Go, DirectAccess, BranchCache, AppLocker, VDI Enhancements, New Windows 8 App Deployment.
According to Microsoft, the 90-day free trial edition of Windows 8 Enterprise is aimed at developers who intend to build and test Windows 8 apps on the final version of Windows 8, and IT professionals interested in trying Windows 8 Enterprise on behalf of their organization, all ahead of its official debut on October 26th. However, in fact, every one who are dying to get their hands on an evaluation version of Windows 8, can download this free trial to explore the new features and enhancements, as long as they have a Microsoft ID.

Additional requirements to use certain features:
To use touch, you need a tablet or a monitor that supports multitouch.
To access the Windows Store and to download and run apps, you need an active Internet connection and a screen resolution of at least 1024 x 768.
To snap apps, you need a screen resolution of at least 1366 x 768.

Both 32-bit and 64-bit versions are available as ISO images in the following languages: Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), English, English (UK), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), and Spanish. In order to use this evaluation, you must register and the product must be activated online with Microsoft-hosted activation and validation services. The evaluation edition will expire and can’t be upgraded to a licensed working version of Windows 8. A clean installation is required.
Consider running the evaluation edition in a virtual environment or installing on a separate hard drive or partition. This will allow you to upgrade your original Windows installation to Windows 8.
Upon installation, you will have 10 days to activate this evaluation online. Windows will prompt you to activate. A product key is not required for this software. Once you activate, you have up to 90 days to use the software.
Back up your files and settings before installing this evaluation and again prior to the 90-day expiration.
