The Motorola Droid X has probably been one of the worst kept smartphone secrets in recent , But in short, it’s pretty awesome. Droid X has big shoes to fill: with an esteemed lineage that includes the original Motorola Droid (then the “best Android smartphone to date”) and the HTC Droid Incredible (again, then the “best Android smartphone to date”), the Droid X carries a moniker that has, in just two years’ time, come to indicate the best and most powerful of smartphones.
Here’s what Verizon had to say to us about the topic:“The Droid Incredible by HTC, as you know, definitely lives up to its
name and is a fantastic device. It has proven to be very, very
popular with our customers. Should a customer who has ordered a Droid
Incredible decide that the Droid X (or any other device) better meets
his/her needs, he/she can take advantage of the Verizon Wireless Worry
Free Guarantee and choose the Droid X when it goes on sale July 15.
Customers cannot pre-order the Droid X with us.”
Pretty promising, isn’t it? we’re really excited about what Moto’s got going on here. Droid X, I’m confident you won’t be disappointed.

At the same time as I really like a physical keyboard, after managing the Samsung Captivate for roughly 15 minutes, it is hard to head back. Right now I am debating whether to visit Verizon for the Droid X, cross to Dash for the EVO, or stick with AT&T for the Captivate…choices, decisions.
I’m absolutely LOVING the Droid X…..the only bad thing is the battery life, but as long as I’ve got my micro usb cable handy (which I always do) then life is good!
The Motorola DROID continues to present new possibilities every day. We’ve had it for about 10 months and I have had a Blackberry attached to my system given that September 1998. Being connected is often a essential part of my existence so I am constantly reachable by family and co-workers. I am a bit addicted for the Marketplace for DROID Applications. If the device had limitless memory I would test the capacity. I think this OS is the way in the future and intend to develop with all of you to understand it via and by means of. Thanks for your content.
so i am on my 5th motorola cliq holding out for the sixth to arrive.. Unhappy and i need to say i’m very disappointed with the replacements ive been recently getting, keyboards not lighting up, the screen cracking , turning off unexpectedly, being extreamly hot whenever charging..etc.. ive just had the worst luck with this phone.. they offered me the brand new dash and the new blackberry.. but i really like the flexibility of this phone so significantly that im trying to look past it.. i just need to know if anybody else is having these problems with replacements.. or just in general.
I have already been sense a minor heat this morning from some individuals not seeking to consider that the Droid X stock will become limited on release day, as we claimed before. Well we have only grabbed five extra screenshots from 5 pretty significant markets and I would say once again of which inventory appears to be pretty limited to me. A few of the major suppliers get up-wards of 60 equipment, but some may just have a few devices. Now perhaps these numbers are above common for a Verizon release, nevertheless for a device this big, I imagine I just thought retailers might could have tried to have already been overstocked.
I technically cannot wait around for this smart phone, just only two days remaining and I simply hope I could get my hands on one,. I have already been reading a lot about the Android two.2 update which can come in August, simply another reason to be excited about this excellent phone. Motorola and Verizon wireless say they will update the phone to Android 2.2 “late summer time.” It will certainly be an over-the-air update. But out-of-the box on its July 15 launch it will have Android 2.1.
